Talking about Mozilla and Open Web at Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope Launch Party

Tomorrow I’ll give a talk at Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope Launch Party, organised by the Ubuntu Catalan Team. The event will take place at l’IES Nicolau Copèrnic in Terrassa.
I thought a lot about the speech I will give at Ubuntu Launch Party and I decided for: “Mozilla‘s Mission – How to make Web a better place for everyone”. I would like to explain people who particpate at the conference about Mozilla as a platform, about Mozilla’s poetry, that Mozilla is offering more than a simple browser, that is offering a platform for an open web. I would like to discuss with those who would like to participate at my presentation about a new concept: “connecting the Web with language in an attempt to find new user interfaces that could make it possible for everyone to do common Web tasks more quickly and easily”. Mozilla project is sharing two important things with GNU/Linux: openness and participation. Why Firefox is the first browser in Europe? How you are seeing the future web? Looking forward to answering it together, tomorrow. It will be a presentation made by a simple Mozillian, FLOSS activist who is trying to make it happen.
My presentation will take place at Sala Enric Cama, starting at 15.30.

Website update, new design, new platform

I decided to switch to WordPress, because is more easy to mantain and update. I like Drupal, but I thought that it is a good CMS for more complex websites. For a simple blog Worpress is perfect The design is a personal creation, maybe it is not very spectacular, but I’m not a designer. Theme is based on Valentinerose (with a few minor changes).
